In 2013, Bennett Pointe Grill asked me to be their in-house baker. A privilege, but I was in way over my head. My mother had taught me some basics and instilled in me a love of all things kitchen, but nothing had prepared me for the task at hand. Yet alas, after many failed recipes and lots of practice, our dessert business is thriving.

Due to space restrictions at the restaurant, our dessert menu is rather limited. So I created a supplemental menu that appeals to almost every palate, done on a private order basis. If you don't see anything that appeals to you, just ask! I enjoy a baking challenge.

Giving back to the community is also very important to me. The APS of Durham and Durham Symphony are annual recipients of Kaking by Kim donations.
